A domestic dispute leads to a murder-suicide in Kanawha County.
Deputies arrived at a home in the Campbell’s Creek area of Kanawha County around 10:30 Friday night. Dead at the scene was 39-year old Anita Hicks. She'd suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Deputies say Hicks' husband Leonard Hicks, suffered a single gunshot wound that was self inflected. He died Saturday afternoon at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Police say evidence from the scene and interviews with relatives and neighbors leads them to conclude it was a murder-suicide.
