Preliminary investigation shows a shooting that ended in the death of one couple is being called a murder-suicide.

Winona County Attorney Chuck Maclean says that 47-year-old Morgan Nederhiser killed his wife, 49-year-old Debrah Nederhiser before shooting himself to death. Maclean says the deaths are still under investigation.

On February 23, Winona County deputies found Nederhiser's home unlocked with the couple and three of their dogs shot to death inside.
