So, they charge this Mother CRIMINALLY in a CIVIL Action WTF? B/C their prior illegal jailing of another mother was deemed by the Kansas Court Of Appeals as ‘unconstitutional’, illegal and immoral.

Cecillia Aarnold - The charge are two counts of interference with parental custody. (sorry boys and Girls but this is a CIVIL matter not a CRIMINAL matter) This is a one day trial and Cecillia will be found either guilty or not guilty. If found guilty the sentence is 2 years in prison.
Cecillia's parental rights were wrongfully terminated by the Sedgwick County DA. Nola Foulston . After the termination, Cecillia accidentally ran into her daughter at school. The Sedgwick County DA Nola Foulston was notified and is now charging Cecillia with parental interference.
This is the same DA Nola Foulston that fails to prosecute child rapists and gives them probation so they can go rape other children. Just this last week, a local babysitter, 33 years old, duct taped the mouth and hands of an 18 month old child and was given probation. Local photographer, Henry Nelson, raped a child and the DA Nola Foulston decided to make a plea deal and gave him probation in exchange for his computer... Protective Mothers rights are being terminated by this DA when they report their child is being abused.
I really admire Cecillia... the DA Nola Foulston wanted a guilty plea and offered her probation. Cecillia refused the probation as her parental rights were terminated wrongfully, running into her children and saying hello shouldn't be a crime, and if there is any punishment to be had (which there isn't)..Cecillia has already suffered through this whole ordeal.
The Sedgwick County DA Nola Foulston has wasted our tax dollars prosecuting Cecillia Aarnold. It's been a crazy witch hunt, including going all the way to Texas to extradite Cecillia back to Wichita where she spent 12 days in the Sedgwick County jail. Reminds me of the homeless man who stole a $2 hotdog and sat in jail a couple months waiting for his trial . Wasted Tax Dollars!

KS Court of Appeals Vacates the Criminal Contempt Charges by Nola Foulston and Judge James Burgess (mother haters)

The Criminal Contempt and wrongful jailing of a parent in Sedgwick County by Juvenile James Burgess and the Sedgwick County DA's office, Nola Foulston, was vacated by the Kansas Court of Appeals.
From the Kansas Court of Appeals:
"The court had no authority to impose a criminal contempt sentence in a civil contempt proceeding. Therefore, we vacate the penalty.”
This isn't the first case of a parent that was illegally jailed in Sedgwick County. By law the local DA represents the State in Child In Need of Care proceedings and should be held accountable when not following the law. The parent went to jail on the wrongful filing by the DA's office and the Judge rubber stamped it.
Judge James Burgess went so far as to threaten to double the parent's time in jail should the parent attempt to see the children again. Judge James Burgess and the DA's office have placed themselves above the laws of Kansas.
